Carly read LL.B Law at the University of Reading composing a 20,000-word dissertation on Health & Safety Law. Her legal interest was further explored by sitting the post-graduate diploma in legal practice at Guildford College of Law. Both courses provided commercial awareness, legal knowledge, & many transferable skills.
In order to continue down her chosen career path of Safety, Carly booked herself onto the NEBOSH Health & Safety General Certificate course which saw her gain a distinction in each examined area. This course provided a solid foundation of knowledge in health & safety management.
After a short academic break, she soon found herself back at the books; this time reading the NVQ Level 5 in Health & Safety whilst working in parallel with a hectic work schedule in TV & Film. This course assessed & verified her knowledge & competence in the application & management of health & safety in TV & Film which she gained in an unprecedented three months.
Her most recent certificates include Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) Level 3 allowing her to learn the practical teaching skills required to successfully teach and, finally, the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
For now, Carly is taking a rest from collecting degrees, diplomas & certificates & is instead, focusing on making Media Safety Management a leading safety provider in the TV, Film, & Events industry. Carly has been the lead consultant on many different productions ranging from Blockbuster films such as Rush to live outdoor events such as the Olympics.
